In July 2016 Michele Fleury Robertson, of the CRUPE Foundation visited the local schools and communities in Fiji where we donated small solar powered starlights for the children to use at night. In the words of the school principal and his assistants as well as the village elders, "these lights are the best present we have ever received” given the typhoon earlier this year has increased problems with electricity, specially at night when the children want to study. The CRUPE Foundation continues in its pledge to build better lives around the world, Michele hopes to re-visit these locations soon and continue providing our solar powered starlights to the children.
